Pamela Morris Jukes received her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kentucky and is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the School of Teacher Education at Western Ken- tucky University. She teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in classroom management, teaching strategies, unit development, and teacher leadership. She serves on the Content Area Program Review Committee for the state of Kentucky and is a state trainer for the Kentucky Teacher Internship Program. She serves as Program Representative for the Elementary Education Program at WKU and works closely with local public schools in the under- graduate field-based program and as consultant. In addition, she supervises first year teachers during the intern process. Prior to her work at WKU she taught P-6 students for eleven years. She currently lives in Bowling Green, Kentucky with her husband, Jon, and their daughter, Hannah Margaret.
